My buddy went to CES and spoke to someone from Pro.Fit International and they are coming out with a mount for Garmin GPS units. It's supposed to be a completely new mount, not just an adapter like ProClip made. I sure hope they aren't making something big and clunky like some of the mounts that I have seen!!!
I called Pro.Fit for more information, but they won't share much. I really want to get one, so I'm going to keep riding them until I get one!!!

MacBook Pro
I've had my MBP for a few months now, and all of a sudden, just this week, my keyboard keeps going out at random times. If I shut my computer for a few seconds and open it again, then it works fine. What's going on?

ProClip GPS Mount

I ordered a mount for my GPS from ProClip and I don't like it at all!!! The mount is huge, and it covers up a lot of the dashboard, including covering part of the airvent.
The mount is a piece of plastic that you wedge into the dash and it "stays in place." It doesn't hold up well, especially when you touch it or move your device.
For the Nuvi they have an adapter, but you can't swivel the device towards you. The device faces straight out the back window.
Does anybody know of any other mounts for the Nuvi?

Apple's iMovie
I recently was on a vacation with my family and we took a lot of picutures and video. I wanted an easy way to show off my vacation photos so I pulled out my new MacBook Pro and used the iMovie application.
The program is pretty easy to use, even as a first-time user, but I've used more technical programs such as Final Cut Pro. I was able to accomplish what I wanted to, but there aren't many options. You have a choice of a few effects and transitions, but I would like a bigger variety when making a movie.
The movie that I made was about 10 mins long and I had to use the same transitions over, and over, and over.
So, for a beginner iMovie would probably be a good program, but for somebody with experinece in video editing it is quite bland.

Introducing...the miCRADLE

Pro.Fit International is up to it again. They have made a custom holder for the iPhone.
I have used other products by Pro.Fit and have really appreciated them because they make driving and using electronic devices so much easier.
The miCRADLE is nice because it is a custom fit for the iPhone and it has padded bumpers so the iPhone easily slides in and out and it protects the phone from damage.
My miCRADLE is mounted on a VSM Legend so it can easily be turned from horizontal to vertical and vice versa without any screws or knobs or anything.

Seeking Vehicle Mount for NUVI
I got a Garmin Nuvi for Christmas so I called Pro.Fit and they don't have anything. Does anybody know who makes a mount for those?
